Corey is an Imp, a demon of magic and trickery. They range from hurlers of fire balls and thunder bolts to illusionists and transmorphic magicians. Predisposition for neither good nor evil they are curious and prone to mischief. If their masters do not keep a tight rein on them they can cause more trouble than they are worth. Though most of them, like Corey are absent minded, with short attention spans.

Imps are also the only demon type able to reproduce, though not by any biological means. Two Imps can combine their power and summon another of their kind. This Imp will not be bound to anyone and can act as they wish which makes it dangerous of multiple Imps o be owned by the same master without strict control of them. However the new Imp will have a bond to her ‘parent’ Imps.

Corey was the result of such a union; she was discovered quickly by her parent’s master and thrown out before she might cause any trouble. Corey spent most of her life being run out of any place she went, no one wanting to see how long it took for her to fall into one of the habits of an Imp. Though she does have a slight history of kleptomania, she can become obsessive over things and her inability to not snatch up trinkets and jewels has gotten her into trouble as well.

Though it was on an occasion she was completely guilt free, she was accused of theft and her accusers chased her with the intent to kill. If not for meeting Tripp they would have taken her life. Corey became enthralled with Tripp right away attracted to his power and personality. She became quite jealous and didn’t like it when Tripp gave his attention to Tameka. Going to extreme lengths to throw herself at him to win his favor.
