When it comes to the control of their GDI powers the non primary users are split into two types, those who can call out their power by will alone and those that it comes out with emotion. While with training and practice they can call out more power on command with greater ease those whose power flows with emotion will only expel their highest force when they are to their mental limit.

Some like the sisters Relina and Selina can only call forth their refractors and highest form when pushed to the brink of anguish and despair. When Relina's personal torment peaks or Selina sees a loved one die/near death the sisters are able to use abilities that are almost the strongest of all secondary users.

Others like the charismatic Alexis and her soul bonded partner Lucinda can release their full strength at almost any time they feel it is needed. Able to subdue the others while they are still in a calm state.

Lucretia is the emotional type, however with her unstable personality her mood swings about like a flag in a tornado. Upset for no real reason she has released her power without wanting to on many occasions, damaging her surroundings and even on accident killing someone. Having a further breakdown from committing the murder her powers lashed out even more.

Though she has difficulty conversing with others under her best of times her homicidal potential makes her recluse from society. Embracing her cursed and solitary existence.

Despite her frail apperance Lucretia is an example of how you can't judge the strength of a GDI user by looks. The stronger they are, the greater control of the physical realm, converting their bodies to a state called 'Absolute Matter'. In this state Lucretia's body and dress is impervious to any damage other than something caused directly by another GDI user of equal or greater strength. While secondary users like Lucretia can only attain 'Absolute Matter' with use of their strongest powers, they do have a resistance to harm and rapid healing all the time.
